The intent of this project was to investigate the relationship between the constructed environment and the human experience. From something as simple as how a window frames a particular view to the echoes in an enclosed room, our senses, combined with our experiences, imaginations etcetera… allows us to forsee and feel, connecting us to the future.
“One must be receptive to the image at the moment it appears and re-appear through a significant verse, in total adherence to an isolated image; to be exact, in the very ecstasy of the newness of the image. The poetic image is a sudden salience on the surface of the psyche, the lesser psychological causes of which have not been sufficiently investigated.”
(The poetics of Space by Gaston Bachelard)
