With the Province recently pausing Inclusionary Zoning(IZ) until 2027, we are updating zoning to allow more density near transit while suspending the only policy tool that could make any of that housing            affordable.

The article explores why transit proximity commands premium prices, how current rental developments still price out most renters, and how policy incentives benefit developers without requiring affordability.
